At Ethylene Atlantic, we believe that the strength of our company comes from the people who dedicate their time, skill, and heart to their work every single day. Today, we are proud to recognize two individuals whose contributions have shaped not just our company’s history, but also its future: Tom Doak and Gary Kaighn.

Tom Doak joined Ethylene Atlantic in 1979, right out of trade school. From his very first day, Tom demonstrated a remarkable work ethic and a passion for precision that quickly established him as one of our finest machinists. Today, Tom is a master milling machinist, known throughout our company not only for his exceptional technical skills but also for his commitment to mentoring our newer employees. His steady guidance, patience, and willingness to share his vast knowledge have helped shape the next generation of machinists at Ethylene Atlantic. Tom’s contributions are many and immeasurable, and we are deeply grateful for the expertise and heart he brings to work every day.

Gary Kaighn – A Legacy of Excellence Spanning 47 Years

Gary Kaighn holds the distinction of being our longest-serving employee, having joined Ethylene Atlantic 47 years ago alongside his twin brother, Brian. Together, Gary and Brian helped lay the very foundation upon which Ethylene Atlantic was built. Gary is an expert machinist with deep proficiency in both Turning and Milling machines, and his craftsmanship has set a standard of excellence that continues to inspire. Though we sadly lost Brian in 2021, Gary’s continued presence is a living testament to the loyalty, resilience, and dedication that define our company’s spirit.
